FYI - You have until Thursday morning to pick a team that plays on Thanksgiving.  I will then exclude them for the rest of the week. Picks of any teams that have been selected will be locked.  Unfortunately, the site will allow you to change the picks but I do have a record of what picks were made so if someone changes a locked pick by accident (or otherwise ;) ) I can change it back.  Good Luck. 

 

Once again its our favorite time of year -- Football season! Its time for Knucklehead 2009.

We will continue to have to two types of players -- those who buy in and those who want to play for fun. Obviously only those players who buy in will be eligible to win any money but this will give people a chance to try it out before risking any cash.

FYI, just so everyone is aware and since I happen to be in the top 3 going into week 15 I wanted to let everyone know that I am not eligible for any winnings.  

As the sole administrator of the site, I feel its a conflict of interest to run the site and to be in the running for the money.  Usually Aaron helps me, I send him my picks and he sends me his picks so that keeps everything above board. This year, as you have probably noticed, he has been MIA.  So while I will still be participating for bragging rights I will not be in it for the money.

Finally, there was a Saturday game this week. My intentention was to allow people to pick it but then excude it after it started to allow people to make their picks on Sunday morning as usual.  However, we had a power outage and my computer has not yet recovered so I was unable to exclude it until late Sat night.  My apologies. I should have sent an email out as well but I forgot to.

The deadline for week 15 picks will be Sunday 10 am.

 

Only two weeks left in the season. WayneM and Bluedemon are neck and neck for the top spot. Only one point difference. In third and fourth are martino and Carl, they are five points behind.   Will the teams already in the playoffs bring their "A" games? What upsets will cause us to crash-and-burn?

Keep in mind I will be doing the same thing this week I did last week.  You can pick from the Saturday (Dallas-Carolina) game up until game time, after which point I will exclude it.  I would like to add code to automate this process but its not quite there yet -- perhaps next year.

Another year of football!  If you want to particpate in this years pool you can use your username/password from last year. If you don't remember you username just use the Forgot Username utility to the left.  If you can't remember or no longer have access to the email just re-register .
